Beaches Half Marathon would like to give a big thank you to all the participants and volunteers, and to our family for making the 2010 race possible. We would especially like to give a big thank you to our all-time biggest pledge earner Norman Simm for raising over $1300 for the Winnipeg Humane Society!  Thank you!!

It was a beautiful day, with participants working through the heat of the day to achieve their goal.  Once again we were inspired by the enthusiasm and perseverance of our runners.  Runners passed by 6 water stations and 2 portapotties on their loops, but even with that it was very challenging with the heat of the day.  We were blown away with the incredible attitudes of our runners, you made the day great.

As organizers,  we were thankful that every one our volunteers stepped up to the plate, working with both a positive attitude and a lot of energy to get the day working smoothly.  We had people that we had just met make themselves available to us at a moment's notice, and our family pulled harder for us than ever to make everything flow.  Thank you.  It has meant more than you know for us to have you there.
